Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

Cleansing Tunes

by Lanee Chisolm

December 9, 2018

When I find myself overwhelmed with the outside world. I like to escape with praise and worship because that brings me back down to earth. Music is great if you use it for what it was intended for from the beginning. Music, itself, was created to uplift God’s name and worship him. Feed your soul tunes it can get full off of. I have my favorite gospel songs I love to listen to currently. The mostly listen to is by Anita Wilson – “More Than Anything”. It sends me in a thankful and grateful state, while my tears of joy fall down. Where would I be without God? Lost.

This is a link to the playlists on Youtube: Playlist.

Just click on it and it will take you straight to the song.

Please enjoy them. 😃❤️🙌🏽

Kids Organizational Routine

by Lanee Chisolm

January 24, 2019

Cute and effective organizational tips I have learned. I’m sharing my new favorite tips with you to better your families task functioning skill. This has de-stressed my Husband and I and gave my daughter an understanding of what accomplishment can bring. This is a real stress buster! 🤓😃

Here are 5 different ways to organize your child’s daily routine. I will break down the picture and explain each cool organizational method.

Please Enjoy!

To the left is the fun board. It’s used for communicating the fun events to come and to plan future events. (To your child’s liking) It excites the young one, allows them to look forward to the next day, and can be used to communicating their feelings. To the right is texted books. See the next post.

On the spin of the textbooks, you can label it to your preference. Ex: Complete one page a day. Inside is a log for the child to keep track of their work themselves and for you as well. I like this because it teaches responsibility.

Here is a classic and simple routine chart. It has the most import daily tasks on it. As the child completes the tasks, they flip the tab up. When they flip it up it reads “Done” on the tab. At the bottom is a rotating system for important school papers, library books, etc. The child puts the documents they receive from school on the right side. After checking or signing, the parent would put them on the left side for the child to return it to school. I encourage you to tell your child to hold the items in hand all the way to school, so; they will remember to hand them in.

This is a cubby area to ensure your child puts things away properly when coming home. To keep a neat and orderly space and home. That way nothing is lost.

Daily Chores Chart

by Lanee Chisolm

January 24, 2019

This is a very simple chore chart to keep your child focused. I placed sticky notes at the bottom of the chart for me to write on. On them, you can put any tasks regarding work. Ex: Help with the dishes. The “undone” tasks will be on the left and the “done” tasks on the right. As the child completes the tasks, they move them to the right. You can reuse them or trash them and make new ones. Cool Right! 🤩

Snow Globe Ornaments

by Lanee Chisolm

December 28, 2018

This idea was from Crafty Morning. It’s a great website I like to get craft ideas from. I did not follow it precisely, being we did not have a laminating machine. Creating the Snow Globes was lots of fun and a great activity for my young one. It’s great for all ages. The craft time was about 20-30m but, did not seem that long. There was so much going on that all you could do is just create and have a good time. You can add or take away any of the add-ins to make it more suitable. As I mentioned before, I do not own a laminating machine. So, we used plastic and tape instead. Old fashion laminating. 🤣😂

Please enjoy this craft with your family. 😃❤️
